He became a professional journalist after leaving the peleton and his writing style makes it easy to see why. Maybe were taking two steps forwards and one back but it’s going to be a long process. A Rough Ride would highlight the problem and make it better for all involved. Rojgh eye-opening expose and a heartbreaking lament, it is a book that anyone interested in any sport should read.
